The Case for Palestine

Why It Matters and Why You Should Care

Dan Kovalik, George Galloway MP

Description

In 1948, the State of Israel was founded. While the philosophy of Zionism that advocated for a Jewish homeland in what was then known as Palestine dates back to 1897, the creation of Israel in 1948 was justified by the terrible crime of the Holocaust committed by Nazi Germany during WWII. Many defenders of Israel would like us to believe that the creation of Israel was a peaceful process on a barely populated land, however, this is far from true. Rather, the creation of Israel was accompanied by what is known by the Palestinians as the Nakba(catastrophe)—an operation in which 700,000 Palestinians were violently expelled from their land and their homes. Since that time, Israel has continued to usurp more and more land from the Palestinians who they falsely portray as a people without a history and without a culture.

Israel has been particularly cruel to the people of Gaza—70 percent of whom are refugees from the 1948 Nakba. Gaza has been converted by Israel into what some call a giant open-air prison surrounded by barbed wire. It is in this context that we are currently witnessing the tragic violence between Israel and the people of Gaza—violence on a scale not seen in this land since the Nakba of 1948. Indeed, many Palestinians are calling this a second Nakba, with around 1.5 million Palestinians already displaced and thousands killed.

All of this is being accomplished by Israel with critical military and diplomatic support from the United States. This second Nakba is also being facilitated by the mainstream press that both downplays and justifies what many believe to be genocidal violence against the Palestinian people.

The Case for Palestine is written as a counternarrative, with the hope that, if the truth is told, this violence and displacement can be stopped before it is too late; before Gaza is no more.

Scott Ritter’s latest book: https://www.claritypress.com/product/covering-ukraine-the-scott-ritter-interviews-through-the-eyes-of-ania-k/

Covering Ukraine: The Scott Ritter interviews through the Eyes Of Ania K. is a unique and timely addition to the literature on the conflict in Ukraine. It offers a fresh look at complex problems that will empower and entertain the reader with new insights and sharp analysis of a war few understand—which as such is doomed to continue in perpetuity, the living manifestation of the age-old adage, “You can’t solve a problem if you do not first properly define what the problem is.”

In this book, Ania K. and Scott embark on a journey to properly define the problems manifest in the Ukraine conflict, and together, they struggle to find a solution.

Scott Ritter is an American treasure. No one on this side of the Atlantic has articulated a clearer or more thorough understanding of Russian history and culture. In this small book, he has put together a lucid and powerful attack on the Biden administration ignorance of all things Russian and consequent folly in Ukraine. Do yourself a favor and read it. Even though I know Scott well, I couldn’t put this book down. On its pages you will see courage personified and the lessons of history made manifest.” HON. ANDREW P. 2:32

welcome everyone good evening hope you’re all well this is your host Danny High Fong as you can see I am joined by

2:40

two special guests it’s actually been basically two years since I’ve had both

2:46

of these friends of the show on the program with me today is frequent guest

2:52

Scott Ritter former un weapons inspector and US Marine Corps intelligence officer and we have joining from Cairo Egypt Dan

3:01

kovalik human rights lawyer author analyst uh activist welcome gentlemen

3:08

thanks so much for joining me tonight thank you thanks you forgot with Dan

3:15

kic’s but all around good guy you gotta put that thank you say that about you

3:20

Scott thank you yes and a St you are Dan Kali yes a stalwart for peace

3:30

and he’s actually the author so I have both books because Scott and Dan are both prolific authors Scott’s new book

3:37

which we have covered here is in the video description Dan kovalik new book the Case for Palestine can be found in

3:44

the video description below from skyhorse publishing hot books and I do

3:50

encourage you all to check that out and be sure to support their work everyone

3:56

hit the like button we are about to get started because that helps the stream in the algorithm but gentlemen we have a lot to

4:05

get to so let us get started Benjamin netanyahu’s very dramatic visit to

4:13

Congress has now essentially come and gone he gave a fiery speech as the

4:22

Western mainstream media is calling it now I wanted to ask and we can start

4:28

with Scott as I play the this video about the myths and the realities here what is the reality of what is actually

4:35

happening on the ground in Gaza and Israel’s continued Onslaught its

4:42

so-called military operation its genocide because the very first words

4:48

that came out of netanyahu’s mouth was Regional War this is what he had to say

4:53

these were literally the the first points he made coming out in Congress

4:59

had to do with coming together around the regional

5:04

threats so here we go I just want to play it really quick officially become Iran’s useful idiots

5:10

oh sorry that’s the wrong video This is actually hold on one

5:16

second um I want to get to that in a bit but here is Netanyahu is the very first

5:24

things that came out of his mouth world is in AAL in the middle East Iran’s access of

5:32

Terror confronts America Israel and our Arab friends this is not a clash of

5:40

civilizations it’s a clash between barbarism and

5:45

[Applause]

5:52

civilization it’s a clash between those who glorify death and those who sanctify

6:06

life for the forces of civilization to Triumph America and Israel must stand

6:17

together so if we had uh if we were doing a drinking game and the amount of

6:23

times that Netanyahu is applauded we had to take a shot we would be incredibly

6:28

drunk probably Hospital realized but he said after that that when America and

6:35

Israel stand together uh we win Scott can you start uh just reacting to the

6:43

speech and to the realities that maybe Netanyahu did not cover well he he

6:50

actually got the realities pretty good except you got to flip the script um you know it is this clash between barbarism

6:56

and civilization and but the barbarians the Israelis Zionism um the

7:03

international court of justice has determined that Israel is an apartheid state um the international criminal

7:09

court has um sought arrest warrants for BB Netanyahu for being a practitioner of

7:15

genocide I mean these we’re Beyond speculation here um he is truly one of

7:20

the most evil men that have you know alive today and probably he’s in the top

7:26

10 of the most evil men of the past Century um and there was a lot of evil guys in

7:31

the last century um so you know he’s he’s basically you know taking um you

7:38

know ground truth and just flipping it it’s it’s a PR campaign um it is a

7:43

regional War there’s there’s no doubt about it the axis of resistance it’s not an axis of Evil it’s an axis of

7:49

resistance to you know Israel the aparte state the practitioners of genocide backed by their you know American Allies

7:57

the AIS of resistance is doing its job and doing it damn well um kicking the

8:02

snot out of Israel um Israel’s not winning uh America’s not winning I just want to remind everybody that the U the

8:09

the Eisenhower carrier battle group had to withdraw having not completed its

8:14

assigned task of U breaking the the hoodie blockade of um of Israel’s

8:20

Southern ports um the hoodie have gotten stronger empowered um blowing up some uh

8:26

you know in a in a fire and fury uh you know show light show blowing up some you

8:32

know oil um you know containers of it

8:38

didn’t accomplish anything the hoody continued to uh sync ships attack ships and force the blockade um and it

8:45

probably in it triggered events we have the Russians signing a secret

8:51

uh military um agreement with Iran uh and I bet you there’s a classified Annex

8:57

that has Russia providing Iran with some very capable anti-ship missiles and

9:03

ballistic missiles which Iran will then provide to the hoodi keeping uh Putin’s promise uh to wage asymmetrical Warfare

9:10

against the United States and its allies by providing weapons to um forces

9:15

hostile to the United States and its allies so that they could be struck in a way that Russia’s been struck by Ukraine

9:23

using weapons provided by the United States and NATO I think that’s the future of Israel um this was a pathetic

9:29

speech um we’ll get in you sort of gave a hint so I don’t want to jump ahead um how pathetic this was not just in terms

9:36

of Netanyahu but the American representatives there um this man should never been allowed um in the people’s

9:43

house this man should never been allowed in our country um this man is a

9:48

disgusting warmonger um I’m not a big fan of um M but she’s 100% right he’s a

9:55

he’s a war criminal and he’s a practitioner of genocide and I applaud her for Having the courage to hold that

10:00

sign up during this ridiculous display of um of submission I mean if you ever

10:07

wanted prove positive that the United States Congress was bought and paid for by Israel there it was um but you know

10:14

you know I think Dan might have some things to say on this too yeah well I agree with you Scott I

10:22

think I think the thing to start with is what you started with and that is that uh Netanyahu got it ex exactly

10:30

reversed when he talks about uh barbarism and uh versus people who care

10:37

about the sanctity of life it is the Israelis who are violating the

10:42

sanctity of life in such a big way in Gaza that is heartbreaking uh I’m in

10:50

Egypt now uh I’m with a legal team we’re going to take testimony and we have been

10:56

of Palestinians refugees here in Egypt eypt there’s about a 100,000 here in

11:02

Egypt that have fled the war in Gaza many more would have but sadly Egypt is

11:08

also a party to this war and they’re on the wrong side um and they’re charging

11:14

they have charged people around5 to $6,000 ahead to come into this

11:21

country uh which is shameful and of course uh no one can come in now because

11:27

the rotha Crossing between Egypt and Israel has been closed by Israel since

11:33

May 7th almost three months no humanitarian Aid is getting in

11:40

and no human beings are getting out of that Crossing which is

11:47

stunning Gaza is now in the midst of a full-blown famine which is human caused

11:53

which the Israelis caused they tried to cause um according to Lance said I’m

11:59

sure you’ve talked about this on the show at least 186,000 Palestinians have died in this

12:05

conflict to date I think it’s probably more than that and you’re going to see many many more because of the starvation

12:12

and disease right their polio is now spreading in Gaza they have found polio

12:18

in in the water system meaning that people are Contracting polio Israel’s is

12:25

um inoculating its soldiers against it of course not the Palestinians and this is all by Design they want to kill the

12:32

Palestinians that’s why this is a genocide um and it’s heartbreaking and and you

12:40

know my own perception and my own anecdotal

12:47

evidence is that the hate that’s discussed is is is really one way the

12:52

Israelis hate the Palestinians uh obviously there’s some

12:58

Israelis who don’t God bless them um but that that number’s shrinking uh all the

13:04

time uh but I don’t me Palestinians that hate the Israelis though they hate the occupation they hate the

13:11

genocide but the hate towards the Palestinians is on a scale I’ve never

13:17

seen that type of hatred in my life and um so again when you talk about the

13:23

first forces of Darkness and Light Israel is not part of the light the the

13:29

US is not part of the light and uh we have to start from that

13:37

premise yeah and the as this speech was going on Israel was and is I mean always

13:44

is every single day killing Palestinians muring Palestinians in in large numbers

13:49

you know um dozens and dozens and dozens uh per day at least from what we know of

13:56

on the so-called Battlefield which is mainly uh targeting civilians but I want

14:02

to play this another clip from Netanyahu because Scott you’ve talked a lot about

14:07

the kind of uh realities on the ground in terms of how

14:14

Israel is doing uh with regard to the war I I noticed that Netanyahu is very

14:19

concerned about trying to paint Israel as protecting civilians I mean here is

14:25

what he had to say about Rafa I have to Commander

14:30

how many you take out in MA he gave me an exact number

14:36

123 I asked him how many civilians were killed he said prime

14:44

minister practically none with the exception of a single incident where

14:49

shrapnel from a bomb hit a Hamas weapons Depot and unintentionally killed two

14:54

dozen people the answer is practically none you want to know why because Israel

15:02

got the civilians out of Harm’s Way something people said we could never do but so I noticed in the speech he talked

15:10

a lot about things like this about how Israel is actually doing good and Goda protecting

15:16

civilians but also there’s this reality that as most people know in the world

15:22

that Israel is just absolutely massacring civilians it’s also not

15:28

achiev its objectives on the so-called Battlefield Scott could you could you speak to this dichotomy here because I

15:34

feel like there was some desperation at times in this speech with regard to public

15:40

relations well first of all you have to understand this entire trip to the United States is an active desperation

15:45

on the part of Benjamin Netanyahu um you know his political world is collapsing around his ears inside Israel he’s um

15:53

not very popular to say the least um you know he

15:59

um is running he he’s one of these damned if you do damned if you don’t um situations

16:06

where the only way he remains viable as a prime minister is to be a wartime leader uh but he’s lost the war lost not

16:14

losing lost the war he’s lost the war in Gaza and he can’t fight the war against Hezbollah because U the IDF is saying we

16:21

don’t have any tanks we’re out of spare parts we’re out of ammunition our men are exhausted we we aren’t designed to

16:26

fight you know an eight nine month uh sustained conflict that’s not how our Force structure works um if we go to war

16:34

against Hezbollah they’ll kick the living dog poop out of us uh they just flew a drone over uh you know one of our

16:41

most secret air bases uh proving that a we can’t shoot them down B they know

16:46

where the targets are and C if they have the weapons to hit them they’re going to hit them boss we can’t go against hezbo

16:52

which means if you can’t expand the war against Hezbollah and you can’t win the war in Gaza you’re not doing well as a

16:59

wartime leader so he came to the United States to wrap the American flag around him he this is what he bought the US

17:05

Congress for and it is bought and paid for by Israel I know people say it’s a it’s an American Lobby no it’s Israel

17:12

let’s just there’s there’s no difference between the pro-israeli lobby and Israel they’re one and the same and Israel has

17:18

bragged APAC has bragged about buying Congress they uh every one of the primaries that they funded

17:25

one because of their money they put 24 million do into one New York race uh to

17:32

ensure that the seat went to a pro-israeli uh person um and when you buy Congress it exists to do a couple

17:38

things keep funneling assistance put pressure on um an Administration to

17:43

ensure that Israel is backed up diplomatically and then on occasion to provide um song and dance shows like we

17:50

saw here where nety can be invited in um this was dis a disgraceful display by um

17:57

the ostensible representative of the American people um a scripted Affair designed to give him standing ovations

18:05

there and and everybody was knew when to give the Ovation you know because the words didn’t deserve the Ovation it was

18:10

basically it was like the old Soviet pullup Bureau you know time to stand up and app plud sit down oh it’s time to

18:16

stand up and app plud sit down no time to stand up and app plud and Nyah took advantage of it he’s just he’s just

18:21

throwing out drek throwing out pure unadulterated garbage um and they’re

18:28

they’re they’re app plotting not because they understand what he’s saying or comprehending it’s because they’re told to applaud this was a pure theater where

18:34

Netanyahu is putting out words um that by through their Applause they’re

18:40

certified now he can go back to Israel because he’s going to be put under a lot of pressure to accept a ceasefire that

18:47

he doesn’t want um but politically I don’t think he can survive much longer unless he does that because he can’t uh

18:53

release the pressure valve of going to war against Hezbollah that they’ll lose that war so he’s going to have to accept

18:58

to ceasefire and to survive that turmoil because he will lose the far right when he does this his Coalition will collapse

19:05

he needs to be able to turn to the center and say I am the anointed leader the United States anointed me I just got

19:12

back from Congress you don’t have what it takes to take on me now that America’s backed me so I’m Your Leader

19:20

rally around me we’ll get through this but if you go against me you’re going against America and not too many of his

19:27

political opponents have the have what it takes to go against the United States so he’s creating this

19:33

perception that he is the anointed one of the United States that’s what this is all about this is just about him being

19:38

able to wrap the American flag around him go back and build a political uh Coalition that can govern when the right

19:45

abandons him because he has no choice but to accept a ceasefire and I think when he meets with Biden um you’re gonna

19:51

see Biden put the old arm lock on him and say you have no choice here because here’s the reality even though Netanyahu

19:58

is bought and bought the US Congress um at the end of the day American interests

20:03

will always outweigh Israeli interests at at the end of the day if Israel ever puts us in a situation where supporting

20:11

Israel is detrimental to the National Security of the United States Israel’s in trouble and they’ve put us in that

20:17

position we are watching the world leave us we’re watching the this the the global South abandon us at the time when

20:24

Russia China India are coming together in Kazan in October which isn’t very far

20:29

away and they’re going to um create this new entity called bricks it already

20:35

exists but they’re what they’re what Russia is preparing to unleash on the world uh the world doesn’t understand

20:41

the preparation that Russia’s made in in conjunction brics is going to go from being a theory to reality and it’s going

20:49

to expand um it it it it’s going to become a a global actor um and the

20:56

United States is sitting there we can’t compete and the people that we need to compete with are jumping ship including

21:02

some some big ones India I mean that bear hug that Putin put on Modi um you

21:08

know should have the United States saying oh my God we we lost we lost our Indian partner because you did lose your

21:13

Indian partner at that point time and they’re losing everybody everybody’s Jumping Ship turkey NATO member Jumping

21:18

Ship everybody and so this is the reality and and the diplomats are weighing in saying this blanket support

21:26

for Israel is destroying us ruining us it’s hurting the National Security of the United States and so Biden has no

21:33

choice right now but to tell Netanyahu you need to come on in line you have to

21:39

line up you have to tow the line you have to do what I tell you now because if you don’t it’s over for you and we’re

21:45

going to flush you down the toilet of Life we’ll do it cleverly we’re not going to stop sending weapons and all

21:51

that kind of stuff but it’ll be the end of Benjamin Netanyahu we will ensure that he’s done politically um we’re in a

21:57

political and you know the you know up until a day ago Biden was the Democratic

22:04

uh nominee for for for this race and so you know his legacy as president matters

22:10

I don’t know what con Harris is gonna end up doing in terms of you know Palestine policy Etc she seems to be

22:16

playing somewhat of a political game right now but we know Donald Trump Donald Trump is all in on Israel um and

22:23

you know so Biden has to take advantage of the time he has left to put pressure on Israel to get the United States in a

22:30

position to where maybe we can stabilize this This Disaster that’s unfolding

22:36

diplomatically um and in order to do that you have to give Netanyahu a way out you can’t insist

22:43

that Netanyahu does something that is the political Kiss of Death that’s unreasonable so Netanyahu is here

22:49

Congress is applauding him he’s the Middle East Winston Churchill he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread

22:55

Benjamin Netanyahu God you’re the best D go home and build your Coalition because

23:00

you son of a you’re gonna have a ceasefire or I’m flushing you down the toilet that’s the reality Netanyahu is

23:06

not a loved individual he’s a hated individual in the United States every one of those congressmen know what a scumbag this guy is they know the truth

23:13

about him a corrupt individual uh you know who was just a political Survivor

23:18

but we’re talking about politics right now and I I think I hope I don’t get you banned for my language I I apologize but

23:25

um you know it it’s that’s what’s Happening Here we’re we’re wrapping the flag around him to give him uh the

23:31

ability to survive the political turmoil that’s going to result when he does what

23:37

he has to do to keep American Support which is agree to some sort of ceasefire

23:43

that is acceptable to Hamas Dan jump in about this you know a

23:49

lot of media at the same time as netan was coming I noticed as Scott talks about a ceasefire there is a lot of uh

23:56

chatter in the western mainstream media Washington Post New York Times all talking about a ceasefire in many

24:02

respects a lot of these articles would reference the threats of regional War

24:07

it’s happening with Hezbollah the only opportunity now a lot of the West a lot of these so-called un un you know

24:14

unnamed Anonymous officials are saying well if Israel doesn’t strike a ceasefire soon doesn’t agree to one goes

24:22

to war with Lebanon there’s going to be hell to pay could you talk about your

24:27

book and how it can help us understand this particular moment in this historic

24:35

conflict genocide uh brewing and ever increasing Regional

24:42

War yes so uh as I discussed in the book uh the case for

24:48

Palestine um what is happening now in Gaza

24:54

sadly is and I used I would not have used this term or any term like it

25:00

before October 7th because I’m someone

25:05

who respects the memory of World War II and the Holocaust and the victims of the

25:12

Holocaust and so I don’t use words related to that period lightly but

25:19

what’s happening in Gaza is the final solution that Israel has for the

25:25

Palestinians and that is to get rid of every single one of them um the Israelis would have in 1948 if

25:32

they could have um uh and Netanyahu saw October 7th as the

25:42

justification to do what the israelies have wanted to do for a long time and that is get rid of the Palestinian

25:48

people that’s why it’s genocide right they are trying to destroy the Palestinian people a you know in whole

25:54

or in part that’s the language from the genocide convention sadly in Gaza it’s it’s it appears to be

26:01

in whole you know with the famine the bombings they’ve destroyed

26:07

like 90% of the buildings there every single human being’s been displaced in

26:12

Gaza at least once over two million people I mean I have friends in Gaza I’m writing to them

26:19

I have a friend Ola and she’s not unique I mean she’s she moved four times or

26:25

five times in a week to to run from from the uh the

26:34

bombing and you have disease now spreading throughout Gaza and again all

26:39

this is according to plan at the beginning I think it was Galant uh the

26:46

defense minister at the time who said that they were you know going to lay Siege to Gaza they were going to cut off

26:51

all the food the water the electricity and that’s what they’ve done uh and all of this as I said is

26:59

baked into the cake of Israel the goal all along was

27:07

to create so the Israelis as we know have had this myth of a land without a

27:14

people for a people without a land right so the myth was that Palestine was a

27:20

land without a people and the goal has been to make

27:25

that myth a reality and that is what’s happening now and so

27:31

we’ve seen this process beginning in 48 uh it’s been gradual up until October

27:39

7th of slowly taking the Israelis slowly taking over more and more land

27:45

displacing more and more Palestinians killing more and more

27:50

Palestinians making Gaza unable in 2018 the UN predicted by

27:56

2020 God it would be unlivable because the Israelis made it

28:03

as such and it was made unlivable by 2020

28:08

think about that for a second I mean it was unlivable before October

28:13

7th um but then after October 7th that kind of slow moving genocide became a

28:21

rapid moving genocide and that’s what we’re witnessing right now and it is important

28:27

to see that historic process um because history did not St

28:33

start on October 7th as we are led to believe it’s been a a very painful

28:39

process for the Palestinian people and it continues to this

28:46

day yes indeed and and now I would like uh and I’ll get Scott back in here to

28:52

comment on this part of what happened in relation to netanyahu’s spee it

28:59

it there’s no shortage of examples of reasons why we may as as people in the

29:09

United States living in the United States Americans why we might feel disdain Shame about the behavior and

29:17

actions and policies of our government uh notwithstanding the uh scripted

29:22

Applause as you uh were remarking on Scott but net yaho several times went

29:30

after people in the United States protesting not only his speech but of

29:36

course his overall genocide here is one of those examples of what he had to say tying it into as always his lust and

29:45

thirst for a broader war with Iran officially become Iran’s useful idiots

30:01

[Applause]

30:08

[Music] so essentially he was calling all protesters outside there’s Rashida Talib

30:16

as you mentioned Scott um talking uh uh lifting the only Congress person the

30:22

only one and there were many who didn’t show up but she was the only one to

30:28

Stage any kind of action inside of the halls of Congress um none of them abided

30:35

by the ICC warrant and and requested and demanded arrest um and certainly all of

30:42

those who didn’t show up um you know uh uh were conducting their own kind of

30:49

political theater so Scott talk about netanyahu’s just attack he was attacking

30:55

people in the United States he was attacking Americans for protesting his actions calling them proxies of Iran he

31:03

wasn’t attacking people he was attacking the United States of America straight up in the people’s

31:11

house there’s a reason why I’ll never be elected a member of Congress and one of

31:16

the reasons is had I been in that room I would have stood up and walked to the stage and said get him the hell out of

31:22

here you don’t have a right you foreign son of a to stand up in the people’s house and criticize Americans

31:29

for exercising their first amendment rights of protest you may not like what they’re saying but you better shut up in

31:36

my country talking about my citizens doing this I mean what a and then to

31:41

have these people who took an oath to uphold theend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies for to have an enemy of America

31:48

because Netanyahu is an enemy of America and he proved it because he’s intolerant

31:53

of the things that make America America like the First Amendment freedom of speech freedom of assembly um freedom of

32:01

Association all these things those protesters are out there you may not agree with them I have to tell you there

32:06

are many times when protesters are in the streets in the United States and I don’t agree with them one bit I am

32:13

bitterly opposed to the cause that they are protesting in support of or I may support the cause that they’re

32:19

protesting against um I will die to give them the right to protest I will be the

32:24

first one on the street to protect them to let them do what do because that’s what being an American’s all about

32:31

that’s why we had a revolution that’s why we had the Constitution and for Benjamin Netanyahu to stand on that

32:37

stage and attack Americans made my blood boil that’s the kind that see when when

32:43

they say defend the Constitution against all enemies for you rush the stage you tackle that son of a and you break his neck because you don’t let him do

32:50

that in the people’s house that’s a frontal assault on American democracy but the shameful part isn’t just that he

32:57

said it but that we let him say it and we applauded him saying that every single person who stood up and applauded

33:03

is Ben Benjamin Neto who said that should be targeted for removal from office that is the real Act of treason

33:10

that is the real betrayal of America again you don’t have to sit there and say I support the protesters you could

33:16

actually agree with Benjamin nyaho that you you don’t support their cause you could be a supporter of Israel and say

33:23

these these Pro protesters are misguided to let him Foreigner stand in the

33:29

people’s house and condemn American citizens for doing what makes America great that’s

33:36

unacceptable it’s disgusting this is really one of the lowest moments in the

33:42

history of the United States Congress literally one of the lowest moments we applauded a war criminal who was

33:49

attacking American citizens for exercising their constitutional rights and Dan um you know what’s what

33:58

Scott is saying here just reminds me this isn’t netanyahu’s first go around

34:04

in Congress he’s been he’s many times he’s come to Congress he’s tried to do something to undermine US policy whether

34:11

it was the Iran nuclear deal under Obama he’s even I believe in 2020 he took Dirty Laundry to the United States and

34:18

and had had White House staffers washed it um but I I wanted you to just comment

34:26

on this particular moment that Netanyahu is doing this he’s not only attacking

34:32

the United States he’s attacking the protesters uh we had protesters there

34:37

was thousands upon thousands of them descending many of them wanted to do a citizen’s arrest of someone who is uh he

34:43

has a warrant out for his arrest from the ICC and so anyone who believes in in the international criminal court

34:49

international law would uh uh before that but of course there was huge police

34:56

presence no one of course got near Netanyahu could you just talk about this moment because as Scott said this is an

35:02

embarrassment in many ways like one of the most embarrassing moments in US history um when it comes to him being

35:09

able to come here at this time when uh this there there there might not be any

35:16

time lower not only for Israel’s particular place in the world but the

35:21

United States is as well yeah I mean first of all you know to State the obvious we’re in the midst of an

35:27

presidential election campaign right all eyes are on on this campaign you had

35:33

Donald Trump who just survived an assassination attempt the president of the United States Joe Biden has said he

35:39

will not run again for election which has rarely happened in US history uh the

35:45

last person I remember doing that was lynon Baines Johnson in

35:51

1968 um and amidst all this turmoil that Weir suffering in this

35:59

country we invite this leader so-called who is committing

36:07

genocide against another people um to speak as as Scott Ritter said in the

36:14

people’s house in the United States Congress it it baffles uh me it it blows one’s mind to

36:22

think that at this time certainly would be bad at any time but at this time in American

36:28

history um the floor was seated to someone like Benjamin at in Yahoo to

36:33

tell lies to say that they’re Israelis are protecting civilians when in fact

36:39

they’re targeting civilians and targeting civilian infrastructure destroying mosques and churches and

36:46

hospitals and universities killing children Ming

36:52

children there are more uh uh children who lost limbs in

36:58

this conflict and in any conflict ever um in recorded

37:03

history I mean even the folks who survive in Gaza will be left broken

37:11

physically mentally their society will be broken and that again that that is all according to plan and you invite

37:18

this person to address not just the US Congress but the

37:24

nation um at this time again it’s mindboggling that this would happen and

37:31

it shows honestly the total Corruption of our political system of

37:37

both parties both parties are complicit in this of course this was up until a

37:44

couple days ago Joe Biden’s War as much as it was netanyahu’s and it is now well I guess

37:51

it still is U but um we’ll see what happens to Joe Biden between now and

37:56

November but any case it has been Joe Biden’s War but of course supported by

38:02

the Republicans and I believe Netanyahu uh will be meeting with Trump

38:07

in Florida at his house in maral Lago um so you know the choice at The

38:15

Ballot Box in November will be between uh yeah practically speaking you

38:21

know one one supporter of genocide and and another though of course Jill Stein

38:26

will be running and who I’ll probably vote for by the way um but who probably

38:31

does not stand a chance at winning even Bobby Kennedy of course is is shown

38:36

himself to be a died in the W Zionist uh unlike his uncle by the way

38:43

johnf Kennedy who actually tried to put some limits on

38:48

Israel um who tried to make APAC um um

38:54

follow the US far law the foreign agent Reporting Act um amongst other things and to

39:03

prevent Israel from getting nuclear weapons of course that you know we know what happened he was killed uh

39:11

Kennedy and there’s very few presidents that have been willing to put any limits on Israel Eisenhower did during the Suz

39:20

crisis I’m of course in Egypt where the Suez Canal is um and and actually

39:27

did um during the uh assault of Israel

39:33

upon Lebanon but those are very you know few and far between instances of the US

39:40

putting uh any breaks on on Israel’s attack of the Palestinians or other

39:47

peoples um but again the timing could not be worse but actually it could not be

39:55

more emblem atic of the US’s relationship with Israel um a

40:02

relationship in which sometimes it’s hard to know what is the dog and what is the tail right and who is wagging

40:11

who um so at least to that extent the American people see that Dynamic

40:18

happening and how much power Israel has over our political system which should

40:26

be very offensive and upsetting to to all

40:32

Americans yeah yeah I mean the the hypocrisy of it all you have people like

40:38

kamla Harris Nancy Pelosi they didn’t show up for the speech but throughout

40:44

this entire period I mean we are entering month nine of a genocide where

40:50

we’re we’re coming toward a year they’ve been championing Israel’s right to

40:56

defend itself this entire period they they have been

41:02

receiving and they have received hundreds of thousands if not Millions from APAC I mean the hypocrisy is just

41:10

so clear and you know Scott you can jump in here and just you know any closing

41:16

thoughts about this moment uh with regard to netanyahu’s visits I mean his

41:22

meetings with the presidents we also had Biden at the same the same day he decided to give his oh I dropped out of

41:29

the race uh five minute speech it it would it’s a it’s a very odd day this

41:34

would be July 24th in American political and geopolitical history so Scott any

41:41

final thoughts on this question

41:47

H look oftentimes I when when we talk about for instance things like you know

41:54

what nyaho is trying to accomplish the political in fighting in Israel um even

41:59

the absolute tragedy of of Gaza I’ve said this before um I’ve I’ve stopped

42:05

crying about the people of Gaza not because I don’t care it’s

42:13

just how can you you just overwhelm with the death I mean it’s just e every day

42:20

it’s the same The Butchery the slaughter Etc um and it it it wears you down to

42:27

the point that you become numb because that’s and that’s part of a survival Instinct um otherwise you just collapse

42:32

and you can’t function if you actually and it’s a tragedy it’s come to that because every single death in Gaza

42:39

deserves to be mourned deserves tears deserves people you know ripping their hair out um but we’re not there um but

42:48

then I I take a step back and um I

42:54

am warmed and that’s the right word by

42:59

the recognition that Israel is fatally wounded that it is over for Israel

43:08

that Netanyahu can humiliate America by coming and speaking before the Congress

43:13

but this will be a footnote in history because soon all will be talking about when it comes to the Zionist entity

43:20

known as Israel this aparte state this genocide um embracing um you know

43:27

disaster of a Nation uh is how it disappeared because it will disappear um

43:34

I’m not promoting the violent destruction of Israel that’s not what I’m talking about I’m saying that Israel

43:39

the the greater Israel that exists today this Zionist experiment um is incapable

43:46

of continuing because it is predicated on um things that aren’t going to happen

43:51

the Abram’s Accord was designed to breathe life into greater Israel by

43:57

killing the possibility of a Palestinian state it it literally killed the possibility of it and it opened the door

44:04

because it got the collusion of Arab neighbors of Israel to agree that uh

44:09

that the Palestinian state would die uh that it wasn’t going to happen that instead they were going to get this um

44:16

greater Prosperity um you know situation where you know people recognize Israel

44:22

open up diplomatic relations with Israel begin economic interaction with Israel and Israel comes the economic Hub of you

44:29

know a regional economic transformation that was the goal that was the objective that’s not going to happen um there will

44:36

be no I remember a couple years ago Joe Biden stood in um in in India and said

44:41

we’re gonna have the India Middle East economic Corridor and this is going to be the Benjamin nety spoke at the

44:47

general assembly instead of putting up a cartoon of an Iranian bomb as he normally does he put up a map bragging

44:53

about how this was going to save Israel this was the future of Israel is no it’s not never going to happen um Israel is

45:01

fatally wounded the Israeli experiment the Zionist experiment has been shown to be a fraud Israel will never again live

45:08

in peace Never Again live in peace the axis of resistance will always be there

45:14

with the potential to Reign death and destruction down on Israel um Israel is going to be compelled to accept the

45:21

reality of a two-state solution knowing that a two-state solution is the end of

45:26

Israel because to achieve a two-state solution Israel will be called upon to terminate the West Bank thievery that’s

45:33

taking place the murder and theft they will have to dismantle the and that’s the end of Israel right there because

45:38

now all the Brooklyn Jews that went over there to steal Palestinian homes will be thrown out physically and leave there’ll

45:45

be a near civil war in Israel over this worse than what happened in Gaza um in I think 2005 when they got when they

45:51

dismantled the Gaz and settlements this will be 10 times worse and what you’ll see is that the people will start

45:57

fleeing Israel we’ve already seen what a half a million Israelis leave um you’re going to see millions of Israelis leave

46:03

and in a nation that you know counts nine 10 million people you lose three to four million people you’re done you’re

46:09

finished and that’s the future of Israel and that’s what warms my heart knowing that the access of resistance knowing

46:15

that Hamas knowing that the sacrifice of the Palestinian people has led to the condition that Israel has inflicted it’s

46:23

a self-inflicted fatality Israel did it to itself Israel is the one that lost

46:28

the faith of the World by committing genocide Israel is the one that prompted criminal indictments from the

46:34

international criminal court Israel is the one that got the international court of justice to recognize this aarid state

46:39

status all of this is done by Israel so I’m thankful to Israel for doing this

46:44

I’m glad Hamas initiated what it did on October 7th because it allowed Israel to be Israel Israel to show the world the

46:52

reality of this sick murderous genocidal regime and for Israel to shoot itself

47:00

fatally I don’t know how long it’s going to take for the death of Israel to occur but I know this Israel is finished it’s

47:07

over for Israel and when the two-state solutions put out there and the Israeli aspect of it collapses as it will

47:13

collapse then it’s a one-state solution Palestine hopefully a Palestine where Muslims live together in peace and

47:19

harmony with Christians and Jews remember there’s a difference between zionists and Jews Jews should not be

47:25

prosecuted Jews should have every right to live um in Palestine as um you know

47:31

members of that broader monolithic uh Community but U you know people who who worship the same God um but not Zionist

47:40

the Zionist entity is dead and that’s what warms my heart um and that’s what makes all the death and and suffering

47:47

that’s taking place uh have have meaning it’s given purpose to the uh to the

47:52

martyrdom of so many um and that’s that’s what I live for I literally hope

47:58

that before I die I have the absolute privilege of watching the Zionist entity

48:05

be wiped off the map of uh of modern civilization and replaced by a singular

48:11

state known as Palestine well I wanted to now slightly

48:18

transition before we get to Ukraine and just talk about one more aspect and element of this and that is how the

48:27

broader multi-polar world is reacting and engaging with this genoside this

48:35

this conflict and I wanted to H Dan we can start with you there was just a a

48:42

historic right before Netanyahu gave his speech a historic agreement brokered by

48:48

China amongst 14 Palestinian resistance groups uh political

48:55

organizations basically agreeing to uh to establish a Unified

49:01

Government of Palestine unified state of Palestine under the people’s under the Palestine Liberation

49:07

Organization and the document adhered to palestine’s right to Armed

49:14

resistance and uh even the Western mainstream media had to even though they

49:19

said that there’s a lot of pessimism around it they had to acknowledge it as incredibly significant you’ve also had

49:24

you know Russia had has had a lot of uh you know activity around this

49:30

conflict too also hosting uh Palestinian organizations for the same purpose a

49:36

couple of times over the last year so maybe you could comment on the role in

49:42

the contrast between how the rising powers in the multi-polar world have uh

49:48

uh reacted to this conflict and engage with this conflict versus the United

49:53

States and of course whoever it’s I are yeah uh I mean it is pretty

50:00

incredible to see um Russia and China stepping

50:06

up as you say to support the Palestinians to uh broker Unity between

50:13

the resistance groups in Palestine it has frankly a feel from the old days

50:19

when the Soviet Union still existed um in Russia’s foreign policy these days looks a lot like the

50:26

Soviet un’s foreign policy in fact in I believe it was May of 2022 the foreign

50:32

Ministry of Russia put out a white paper on their foreign policy and in paragraph five they said that Russia is a legal

50:39

successor to the Soviet Union and uh as such it would continue the two main

50:46

policies of the Soviet Union which were anti-fascism and anti-colonialism

50:52

supporting the anti-colonial struggle and that’s exactly what russan China doing um with Palestine in particular

51:00

right now which is very heartening as Scott said I I think you will see the

51:06

quickening of the end of of Zionism uh which has to go it is a

51:13

hateful uh philosophy and be and has become more hateful over time of course uh my concern and I think

51:22

a lot of people’s concern is how many people would will be will die in the proc

51:27

process of Zionism dying how many people will Israel take with

51:33

it and will Gaza survive it right will will Zionism end

51:39

before Gaza is destroyed and um I pray that it that that it is but I

51:47

I fear for the future of Gaza of course one has to um but the

51:54

world I think the people the world it’s not hyperbolic to say the people of the world are with

52:00

Palestine even in the west the people largely are um they certainly don’t want

52:07

to see this Slaughter happening in Gaza the truth is the governments of the West don’t really well represent their own

52:15

people in terms of that not in terms of Gaza or frankly by this time not even in

52:22

Ukraine most Americans want to stop funding Ukraine

52:28

um the Europeans we’re seeing elections that are showing that the

52:33

Europeans are turning against that war as well in Ukraine and certainly against the war in Gaza

52:40

so um as you say the multi-polar world is

52:46

fully in birth at this moment spurred on it first and again I guess as we

52:53

transition by the special military operations of Russia and Ukraine I mean you know that almost overnight it was

53:01

incredible to see how the multi-polar world really Blossom after that and then after U

53:10

October 7th we’re seeing it grow and strengthen even more so um again I am heartened by that the

53:19

unipolar world that the US created after the collapse of the Soviet Union was an ugly world

53:27

the us could have after the collapse of the Soviet Union been a harbinger of

53:33

Peace in this world it decided to go the opposite way it decided to use its power

53:41

in the world to wage war particularly in the Muslim world I

53:46

mean that has to be pointed out um it’s been estimated that four

53:51

million Muslims lost their lives uh since the so-called war and Terror began

53:58

um on 911 um after 911 um four million people that’s an

54:05

incredible number um and that’s just the tip of the iceberg in the Congo six million people at least have

54:13

been killed and by the way that Slaughter continues you know we have to have you know all eyes on Gaza but

54:20

meanwhile in in Congo and Sudan you have incredible Bloodshed that’s happening

54:26

that’s getting almost no attention at all you know and I maybe we have to save that for another day but these are again

54:32

all war wars of Empire that the West has been waging and you know to build upon what Scott said

54:40

not only is Zionism seeing the end of days the US Empire seeing the end of

54:46

days as well uh but again many people will suffer and die as th that Empire

54:54

collapses yeah and Scott Maybe can comment on not just the Beijing declaration also you mentioned Russia

55:02

and Yemen the hutis Anala U perhaps striking a deal around

55:09

arms you we’ve had the access of resistance in large part Embrace both Russia and China of course there are

55:15

going to be disagreements and I’m sure that there are disagreements among them but overall the overall policy has been

55:23

moving toward whether it’s Iran’s relationship Yemen’s relationship or the rest of the access of resistance

55:28

relationship with Russia and China so could you comment on this in the context of this pretty Monumental not getting a

55:35

lot of coverage or maybe as much coverage given netanyahu’s visit but given this huge declaration that

55:41

happened at the same time well I mean again this is what I was um alluding to

55:47

before where you know right now our mainstream media in

55:52

the west United States is focused on netanyahu’s speech um it will be a

55:58

footnote in history when the eventual book is written about this time um his

56:04

speech will literally just be a footnote because it’s meaningless it’s um

56:10

he’s I gotta watch my I’m I’m very angry right now so I have to um I have to be

56:16

very careful because I can immediately go into Marine Corps mode and and use language it probably isn’t appropriate

56:22

so um these are infuriating times but continue words are meaningless words it’s just

56:29

hot air coming out of his mouth um it’s infuriating but what historians will

56:34

reflect on is this Israel said that they will not do business with Hamas that’s

56:41

one of their red lines and I understand that’s uh even even though I don’t support the Israeli government U if if

56:49

I’m being honest as a mediator that’s a tough one to swallow to tell Israel no you got to sit down at the table with

56:55

Hamas um what China did is um there there’s no more Hamas I mean

57:01

there you know it it exists but China has created this Fusion entity uh that

57:08

now has legitimacy um that will be able to sit down and um and negotiate and

57:15

Israel has no choice now no choice Israel can’t say that’s Hamas it’s not Hamas it’s something different Hamas is

57:23

part of it this was a brilliant Act of diplomacy by I I should point out that I

57:28

think Russia actually initiated this um this this effort they brought Hamas in

57:34

the pla into Moscow to have the discussions this is part of that collusion taking place between Russia

57:40

and China about what a multi-polar world should look like which is a world that seeks peaceful resolutions to some of

57:47

the most difficult problems remember it was Russia again initiating dialogue China closing the deal on the um the the

57:55

normalization of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia which is a fundamental game Cher both those Nations now are

58:02

going to be sitting at the bricks table unimaginable five years ago uh to talk about that that happened um now Russia

58:10

and China have created the conditions where um Israel will have to sit down

58:15

with this Fusion element and and do business with they can’t say that’s us this is the genius of uh of of of of

58:23

what has happened here and people need to be you know talking about that but there’s another aspect of it too because

58:29

Russia you know I always advise people you you both know who Ray McGovern is

58:35

Right Dan you’ve met Ray McGovern yes yeah I know he’s been on the show

58:40

Ray McGovern first of all he’s just a hell of a nice guy I mean you can’t help but love Ray mcgn he’s literally you

58:46

know every man’s Grandpa uh the grandpa you just dreamed of having because he’s that good of a guy um but you know he’s

58:54

a man who used to be a CIA analyst um back in the day uh when I when I worked

59:00

with the CIA I was never in the CIA but when I worked with them um we called the Soviet uh branch of Sova Soviet Affairs

59:08

um and that was the sort of the the brain of all Soviet related analysis he

59:14

predates the Soviet Affairs so he’s he’s before SOA I made the mistake once of saying oh Ray was with SOA and he called

59:20

me up and said Scott I’m before SAA um that’s how old he is but Ray taught me a

59:26

couple things um he he said you know

59:31

stop distrusting um Russian media and the

59:37

statements made by Russian politicians because it’s it’s a carryover from Soviet times where you know we had

59:44

sovietologists who would literally look at photographs and look at how close people are standing to whom to determine

59:50

what the power structure is in the pull bar oh my God coan’s wearing a fur hat and he’s four .6 Ines from bnff the

59:58

world is coming to an end um kind of thing and he said no all you have to do

1:00:04

is read the Soviet press read the statements made listen to the speeches

1:00:09

they’re not lying they get up there and they say something because that’s what they’re going to do um Putin is one of

1:00:17

the most transparent leaders out there he meets all the time with the governors

1:00:23

with his own cabinet and the the minutes of these meetings are published you can

1:00:29

watch it on YouTube you can read it if you have the patience to do this you know I’m a specialist in this so this is

1:00:35

what I do for a living that’s why I’m pretty boring you know but uh the the

1:00:40

fact of the matter is Putin has said some things like you fired the America

1:00:47

and in Europe gave Ukraine weapons that they didn’t used to attack Russia and

1:00:52

there will be a price to pay we will we are holding you accountable and we will pay the price now immediately people

1:00:58

jumped on that said oh my God Russia’s going to hit American forces hit Russia’s not that not that crude or

1:01:04

crafts and they came out they said no it’ll it’ll be an asymmetric

1:01:10

response um which means they’re going to come at it a different then later on he said what that means we’re going to

1:01:16

provide weapons to the enemies of the United States and Europe so that those

1:01:22

weapons can be used to attack the United States and Europe that’s what’s going to happen and we

1:01:28

will pick the time and place I believe because right after Israel struck uh

1:01:35

Yemen in retaliation for the hoodi Drone strike on Tel Aviv I think lavro who’s

1:01:40

chairing the uh Security Council right now uh said that uh Russia will not sit

1:01:47

on the sidelines forever uh that Russia is going to get involved um I think

1:01:52

Russia has gotten involved Russia just finalized a uh a very detailed defense agreement with

1:01:59

Iran and I believe there’s classified annexes to that um and I think one of

1:02:05

the classified annexes deal with the transfer of Russian military equipment to Iran with the intention of Iran

1:02:13

transferring it to to to Yemen to the hoodie U why well why would I mean

1:02:18

Russia shouldn’t be landing IL 76s in sa airport um that’s not asymmetric that’s

1:02:25

in your face Iran already has a very efficient Logistics uh system set up where they

1:02:31

are transferring weapons to Yemen so Iran will continue that but now the

1:02:37

weapons are going to be more modern they’re going to be weapons that can sync um US Naval vessels in the Red Sea

1:02:45

um if they get the Onyx uh anti-ship missile system that’s a certainty um and

1:02:51

they’re going to get missiles that can strike Israel without being shot down um

1:02:56

and this is the escalation this is what he uh Russia promised to do so this is the other side of the coin on the one

1:03:02

hand you have genius uh diplomacy taking place that sets the condition for peace

1:03:08

but on the other hand you have real politic where the Russians are going to follow through because Ray McGovern told

1:03:14

me when Russia says something take it to the bank are going to follow through with the asymmetric Warfare they’re

1:03:21

going to provide these weapons to Yemen through a proxy Iran and those weapons will be used to great effect uh against

1:03:29

Israel and the United States the gloves are off you don’t get to fire attack

1:03:34

them’s missiles at Crimea and kill vacationers on a sasta pool Beach

1:03:41

without there being repercussions and the repercussions will be a heavily

1:03:46

armed Yemen and what is Israel going to do bomb Yemen get in line man the Saudis

1:03:52

have been doing it since 2014 America and the BR tried to do it uh couldn’t couldn’t accomplish the objective um the

1:04:00

Yemen have just gotten stronger gotten better um I mean and that’s what people

1:04:06

are goingon to be writing about not Benjamin yyah who’s pathetic little charade of a you know speech in front of

1:04:12

the US Congress the disgrace of the US Congress they’re going to be talking about the diplomacy of Russia and China

1:04:20

and the asymmetric warfare that’s going to break the back of Israel and the United States uh in in the region and

1:04:28

you know I’m not happy about this I I I again I just have to be honest I’m an

1:04:34

American and uh I don’t want American Sailors to die I don’t don’t want American soldiers to die or Airmen to

1:04:40

die I want them to get the hell out of that region and come home and live uh but we’re we don’t have politicians that

1:04:46

think sanely we don’t we don’t have military officials that understand the limits of power and we’re going to end

1:04:52

up sailing ships into Harm’s Way um and we’re going to we’re going to lose these ships and we’re going to lose Americans

1:04:57

and it’s going to break my heart but it is the inevitable com you know the inevitable um consequence of uh

1:05:05

empirical overreach America is trying to do too much with too little with no

1:05:11

international support and most importantly no legitimacy we lack legitimacy of purpose in everything we

1:05:17

do in the Middle East today yeah Dan I want to give you actually the final comment on this um

1:05:23

before we move on because you know uh I’d like to hear your assessment not just what Scott said but also given

1:05:30

these developments adding in the the fact that Russia has promised

1:05:37

and this was a while AG this was when the United States and NATO everyone was coming in and saying we’re going to

1:05:42

allow Ukraine to use our weapons to strike deep into Russian territory Russia said okay well we’re going to

1:05:48

start arming your adversaries because uh that is what you would call an for an ey

1:05:56

that’s that’s that’s that’s the the proper response so can you talk about in the context of this especially with

1:06:01

Yemen Yemen just landed a pretty big hit on Tel Aviv a very embarrassing one and

1:06:08

now they could very well uh find themselves even more heavily armed and

1:06:14

even more impressively armed than they already have been which you know uh not

1:06:19

only do they have friends in the AIS of resistance but they also have you know they’re not a stranger to government

1:06:26

they do have a military they do have access to their own government um as beleaguered as it’s been by us Saudi

1:06:34

Invasion so your final words Dan yeah know first of all cheers to Yemen I mean

1:06:40

it’s one of the poorest countries on Earth as Scott uh said it it’s been a victim of a very brutal War since

1:06:47

2014 again supported by the United States and Great

1:06:52

Britain um some believe that was a genocidal War as well which also led to

1:06:58

a famine in um in Yemen um and and still this very poor country War torn

1:07:05

country has crippled the shipping uh of the world in the Red Sea

1:07:11

to support Gaza they don’t have to do that they are sacrificing themselves to do that and uh one can

1:07:20

only applaud it in my in my view uh you know the genocide convention

1:07:26

1948 says that you know the nations of the world have an obligation to stop and

1:07:31

prevent genocide when they see it and Yemen is actually taking that seriously it’s one

1:07:36

of the few countries that is that’s actually physically doing something about it but in terms of you know Russia

1:07:44

and its statements about um you know retaliating against the west through

1:07:51

proxies you know the west and the US particular has had the

1:07:58

luxury for basically its whole history of going

1:08:04

to war with other countries without being attacked in return right even when we lose thousands tens

1:08:11

of thousands of troops like we did in Vietnam you never saw Vietnamese on the streets of New York City fighting us

1:08:17

right but they could have they would have had every right to do that right and you know it was inevitable at

1:08:25

some point you will reap what you sow you cannot go to war with the rest of the

1:08:30

world you cannot support a war against Russia as you said uh support Ukraine to

1:08:39

Target um civilians deep within Russia to Target Russia’s defense radar defense

1:08:48

systems that were designed not to defend against you know uh countries like

1:08:54

Ukraine that are next door but to defend against intercontinental ballistic missiles from the United

1:09:00

States uh you can’t do that and expect forever not to be hit and

1:09:07

return and Americans are used to that though Americans you know are shocked to think

1:09:14

that that other countries would somehow strike back but it will

1:09:19

happen and you know again

1:09:26

uh people cannot expect to go to war um and have it a a totally

1:09:33

unilateral thing which again the Americans have had for so long um and

1:09:38

Americans need to start waking up that we have we have carried out these wars

1:09:45

abroad destroyed entire nations destroyed civilizations destroyed

1:09:51

Antiquities of the world again particularly in the Middle East

1:09:57

um they have to wake up to that destruction and and that we at some

1:10:04

point will feel um you know the real repercussions of that they’re coming and they’re also

1:10:11

coming economically well let’s uh talk about

1:10:18

Ukraine um as our last topic and then there’s just a few I think Super chat questions uh not even questions but just

1:10:25

comments we’ll pull them up Scott I wanted to start with you with regard to

1:10:30

Ukraine demitro kba foreign minister of Ukraine meeting with wangi in

1:10:36

China um a lot of talk about peace we have zalinski talking about peace now a

1:10:43

lot more talk about peace but even wangi said the time isn’t ripe tell us what’s

1:10:50

going on in the conflict right now uh because it it I notice that there isn’t

1:10:57

a lot of attention as there once was especially in the western mainstream media about how things are going Beyond

1:11:04

maybe comments on Frozen conflict f-16’s not making it to the battlefield uh

1:11:11

could you give an overview if you could of of what exactly is going on what direction it’s heading in the one thing

1:11:18

we could say right off the bad is there is no Frozen conflict right now Russia is advancing steadily on um all fronts

1:11:26

um the pressure that Russia’s putting on Ukraine is breaking the back of Ukraine

1:11:32

Ukraine has literally run out of troops um one of the reasons why Russia was able to advance uh six and a half

1:11:39

kilometers yesterday in the critical sectors because Ukraine didn’t have any troops to Counterattack with uh they

1:11:46

fell back to an intermediate line didn’t have enough troops they had to fall back further um you know they Ukraine’s used

1:11:53

to shuttling troops around the front uh they have a handful of brigades six to eight of them that um are used as sort

1:12:00

of fire brigades pulled out of one sector sent to another sector and they shuttle them back uh when they get

1:12:06

burned out they pull back they regroup send them back in um one of these brigades is the 47th Brigade um the 47th

1:12:15

Brigade was pulled out of the line sent up um towards a chess of Yar to uh to

1:12:21

stabilize the situation that critical uh City as they were offloading From a Train they got hit by two esand missiles

1:12:28

took out a battalion worth of men and took out a bunch of equipment the 47th

1:12:34

Brigade is no longer combat effective that’s their fire brigade the fire brigade didn’t arrive at the fire chaar

1:12:41

is Burning uh the Russians are advancing when they make when chavar Falls and it will uh this is going to you know

1:12:49

unhinge of the Ukrainian defensive line and they’ll be compelled to fall back even further putting cities like uh

1:12:55

chromator at at risk um you know this is what we’re seeing we’re seeing this bad

1:13:01

news all over the 31st Brigade another one of their fire brigades um was

1:13:06

supposed to launch a Counterattack the Russians instead uh preempted it with a Piner movement the 31st couldn’t get

1:13:13

withdrawn in time and now several Batts of the 31st are surrounded and they’re going to die um that’s the end of the

1:13:19

31st Brigade that’s two of the well-known fire brigades there very very

1:13:24

veteran in units with u you know with a good track record of of of resisting the Russians they’re gone uh and more and

1:13:32

more units are disappearing like this on a daily basis Ukraine’s losing the brigades worth of troops every day and

1:13:38

they’re not getting more than the battalion’s worth of troops as Replacements you can’t sustain this military math we are looking at the

1:13:46

collapse is happening as we speak Ukraine is desperate for Manpower they’re desperate for equipment so why

1:13:52

all of a sudden are they screaming peace first of all let’s understand that Ukraine’s not asking for peace let’s

1:13:58

just be serious they’re asking for Russian surrender that’s their terms they’re ridiculous terms Russia is not going

1:14:05

back to the 2022 borders Russia’s not going back to the 1991 borders Russia’s not going to accept a frozen Battlefield

1:14:13

Russia’s winning right now what Ukraine is doing is

1:14:19

creating the conditions so that I I think a decision’s been made Ukraine that um

1:14:26

they better start preparing for a Donald Trump presidency now that I think anybody any American knows that in July

1:14:33

if you try and predict what’s going to happen in November you’re a fool uh there’s a lot of time between now and

1:14:39

November where you know anything can happen um hell we just came from a month

1:14:44

where one candidate almost got assassinated and we have a soft coup that eliminated another candidate um I

1:14:50

mean ain’t American democracy great um so who knows what’s going to happen between now and November nobody uh but

1:14:56

the ukrainians are saying um we we we need to hedge our bets right now we need

1:15:02

to demonstrate why because Donald Trump has spoken with zalinski zalinski knows

1:15:08

Donald Trump’s plan he knows that Trump is wants who thinks he can solve this

1:15:14

problem with a series of phone calls now the first phone call would be the zalinski that says you have to accept

1:15:21

the following conditions zalinski now is in a position of saying I’ve already done it I’m I’m saying we’re ready for

1:15:27

this we’re ready for peace right now but the conditions Trump wants to impose is is uh the to give Russia Crimea but

1:15:36

Russia has to give back Kon Zia it’s just not gonna happen uh Russia

1:15:42

I think is in the process of saying oh no you don’t seem to understand Donald we’re taking Odessa kov NEPA Petros

1:15:48

mikol as well we might take sui just because we’re really pissed off right now um and that’s the direction Russia’s

1:15:55

heading I mean when you have lavro say he can’t Envision a pece that allows

1:16:00

Russian populations to be governed by the ukrainians anymore that’s the closest I’ve heard a senior Russian

1:16:06

official saying that Odessa is going to be Russian I think that’s the reality Odessa is going Ukraine should have

1:16:13

taken Putin’s peace plan when he put it on the table back U you know on the eve of their pathetic little peace Summit in

1:16:20

uh in Switzerland they didn’t take it and as Putin said remember Ray mcgoverns

1:16:25

uh you know rule number one listen to the Russians they’re going to tell you what they’re going to do and Putin said

1:16:30

if you don’t take it the it it it’s off the table and you’re never getting it back and what you’re going to get is

1:16:36

much worse it’ll be the we will dictate unconditional terms of surrender that’s it that’s the only way this war ends

1:16:43

Trump though has said if Ukraine agrees to the peace

1:16:48

formula then he will make a phone call to Putin okay and he will tell Putin

1:16:53

that Putin has to you know give back the the new territories they can have Crimea and

1:17:00

Putin will tell Trump to pound sand and then Trump’s response is we will flood

1:17:05

Ukraine with weapons which is what Ukraine wants so all this talk about peace and everything Ukraine is trying

1:17:11

to set the conditions that will compel Donald Trump to flood Ukraine with

1:17:17

weapons the bad news for Ukraine is that America doesn’t have weapons to flood Ukraine with the other bad news is I

1:17:25

think Donald might want to run that past his Republican uh friends and allies in the Congress that’s sort of not the way

1:17:31

America’s headed our military certainly can’t sustain that but that’s been Donald Trump’s problem all along is that

1:17:37

he just opens his mouth and verbal diarrhea ushers forth and it’s not backed by anything that remotely

1:17:43

resembles reality which brings me to the conclusion of this this

1:17:48

war is going to be won by Russia this war will end when Russia decides it’s

1:17:54

over and it will end on terms that Russia will dictate not only to Ukraine but to the West The only voice that

1:18:01

counts anymore is Vladimir Putin’s voice and to think that you know cbba can go

1:18:06

to China and get the Chinese to you know I mean does he really think that he can

1:18:12

strip China away from the Russian you know orbit and uh and and and turn China

1:18:18

against Russia because that’s sort of what kuuba is acting like is happening he doesn’t understand that China and

1:18:24

Russ have already worked all this out that they know exactly what they’re going to do how they’re going to do it

1:18:30

on on on what timetable um you’re not GNA there’s no light between Russia and

1:18:35

China on Ukraine anymore no there used to be early on not anymore um this war

1:18:41

is over we don’t know when it’s going to be over but it’s over the Ukraine cannot

1:18:47

flip the script on this one and the final determination of what postconflict

1:18:54

Europe Ukraine will look like is Vladimir Putin’s and Vladimir Putin’s alone

1:18:59

Ukraine will not have a vote CA won’t be the foreign minister zinsky won’t be the president uh none of these people that

1:19:05

are in power today will be at that table there will be it’s it’s like you know at

1:19:10

the end of World War II who sat down and negotiated the surrender of Berlin was

1:19:16

it Adolf Hitler nah he had to put a bullet in his head was it Joseph gobl

1:19:21

now he had to do the same thing was it any of those big wig Nazis no they were all dead or fled it was General

1:19:29

Krebs a German general that had to sit down and say it’s over I am betting a

1:19:35

dime to a dollar that when this is all done it’s going to be Ukrainian General sitting down with the Russians signing

1:19:42

the surrender document that Russia’s goingon to put in front of them yeah that goes very well in line

1:19:52

with Russia’s stance right now that whoever is running the Ukrainian government from zalinski to whoever else

1:19:59

is sitting in there is is not valid I mean zin’s time has been up since May and Russia has not acknowledged that his

1:20:06

leadership is is legitimate Dan could you come in and talk about to both you

1:20:11

and Scott have been to the dabass both of you have been on the front lines of what’s been going on to a certain extent

1:20:19

could you elaborate also on maybe the why of what Scott is talking about because said you know this is going to

1:20:25

end on Russian terms you’ve seen it for yourself what’s been going on there why

1:20:30

is it then that uh Russia would take such a hard stance even as it is kind of in the driver’s seat when it comes to

1:20:37

the conflict yes well yes so I since uh the special military operations began I’ve

1:20:43

been to Russia five times I’ve been to Crimea I’ve been to the dbass three times I just got back from lugansk uh

1:20:51

about a month ago and I was in Haron as well so uh what I can

1:20:57

say is Russia will take those

1:21:02

territories uh not just because they’re winning the war but

1:21:08

because frankly the people in those regions want to be part of Russia that’s the Dirty Little Secret that the West

1:21:14

doesn’t want to talk about that first of all these regions are historically part of

1:21:20

Russia particularly Crimea particularly the dawn back which is made up of

1:21:25

luhansk and and detet these were the heart of Russia they were the heart of the Soviet

1:21:31

Union um and uh particularly Don bass

1:21:36

was a victim of the government of Kiev since 2014 14,000 people

1:21:42

died in the conflict between Kiev and the dbass before the special military

1:21:47

operations even began in 2022 and unless you know that

1:21:53

history you really shouldn’t have any opinion on what’s happening in Ukraine because the people in the dbass

1:21:59

know that people in Crimea know that they don’t want to go back to

1:22:05

Ukraine not because they hate the ukrainians but because the right-wing government that

1:22:11

the US helped install in 2014 decided it was going to go after its

1:22:17

russian-speaking population it’s ethnic Russians it was going to treat them as second class

1:22:22

citizens that resulted again again in a war that killed 14,000 people and those people ain’t going back to

1:22:31

Ukraine and uh that’s the reality I want Americans to

1:22:36

know and many Americans don’t know what a dbass is right but they should learn

1:22:42

about it and they should learn about Crimea and and the history there and

1:22:47

they would have a very different opinion I think of of what’s happening and that’s why those regions won’t go back

1:22:53

to Ukraine right and Scott maybe a final word on

1:22:59

the conflict or or Dan afterward um what have you made of polls recent polls

1:23:04

coming out of Ukraine talking about how there is more of an appetite of uh of

1:23:12

coming to terms with Russia um do you find that to be aligned with the

1:23:19

overall condition that the Ukrainian military as well the entire society as

1:23:25

well as the status of the US and NATO’s capacity to fight this conflict um how

1:23:32

how have you uh viewed this given that for the longest time we were hearing

1:23:37

that ukrainians were all in on this and you’ve talked about this as well is that there has been a lot of um you know

1:23:45

fervor and passion for you know joining on the front you joining the front lines

1:23:51

and essentially Dying For This cause well I mean first of all we can’t

1:23:57

dispute the fact that there are um tens of thousands without hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers who

1:24:04

believe in Ukraine and are willing to fight and die for Ukraine um every Russian officer and Soldier I spoke to

1:24:12

uh who was in the special military operation had nothing but praise for the ukra their Ukrainian counterparts The

1:24:18

Bravery of these men uh the tenacity of these men um uh and the respect they

1:24:24

have for people who are willing to fight to the death for what they what they believe in I mean you know it’s war is

1:24:30

war but you know they the Russians you don’t hear the Russian soldiers uh saying these guys are a bunch of cowards

1:24:36

they’re useless they’re like no if we don’t watch what we do they’re gonna they they kill us because they’re

1:24:43

they’re pretty good um you know so there’s there’s people out there that that are fighting we should never forget

1:24:49

that point that the ukrainians are putting up a hell of a fight against a very good Russian army um but they’re

1:24:55

they’re running out of out of troops um but here’s the thing and and maybe Dan can talk about this too um because you

1:25:03

know he’s he’s been to Russia a lot more times than I have um and I think he probably has a broader you know base of

1:25:11

uh experience to draw upon but my my more narrow uh base um has me comparing

1:25:19

and contrasting even as recent as May of last year 2020

1:25:24

23 um what I would call sympathy in Russia for the ukrainians empathy even

1:25:31

um uh compassion uh there was not um the

1:25:38

Russian people weren’t hard against the ukrainians they they were still coming to grips with this war but it was mainly

1:25:43

their ire was directed towards NATO towards the West uh and and they weren’t holding Ukraine accountable for that

1:25:52

um I don’t think that that situation exists today this is my take and again

1:25:57

Dan can correct me if I’m wrong and I’m willing to be wrong because I don’t claim to know everything about Russia

1:26:03

but my sense is that there’s been a hardening of Russia towards the ukrainians um and that the the the

1:26:12

the direction that the Russian people are is finish this war regardless of the cost to Ukraine

1:26:19

and they’re not asking for war crimes they’re not asking for this but the day of worrying about you know the you know

1:26:25

the suffering of the Ukrainian people is is long past the Russians have buried too many Russians um and they just they

1:26:31

they want this war to end and they don’t care which tell the reason why I brought that up is the the polls don’t matter

1:26:38

anymore Russia doesn’t care anymore there was a time when polls like that might have resonated inside Russia

1:26:44

generated some discussion but from my perspective the Russian people have just become hard look I’ve seen it even here

1:26:52

in the United States i’ I’ve watched the attitude of the Russian Ambassador and the Russian Embassy shift dramatically

1:27:00

from a time when they number one priority was how to convince how to get

1:27:05

the American people um inoculated against the disease of uh of russophobia

1:27:11

uh they you know they wanted to win the hearts and minds of the American people they want and today it they don’t care

1:27:17

they don’t give a damn about us I mean they’re they’re just like the hell with

1:27:22

you uh we I mean I it’s just this callous indifference that comes when you know

1:27:30

when recognizing that the United States um

1:27:35

collectively is unwilling to engage in constructive dialogue unwilling to engage in anything that brings about you

1:27:42

know a mutually acceptable conclusion therefore Russia will go its own way and

1:27:47

that’s what’s happened I think the Russian people have just said no we don’t care Ukraine

1:27:54

the hell with you finish this war and the the Russian diplomats are saying

1:28:00

look America doesn’t want to be constructive doesn’t want engage then the hell with America I I don’t think the Russians are losing too much sleep

1:28:07

about russophobia in America today um I I I think they’re like yep that’s a disease it’s like Hydrophobia let it

1:28:13

kill America we don’t care anymore we’ve moved on we got bricks we got Eurasia

1:28:18

we’ve got all this other stuff happening that’s expanding our interaction in the world today and I’ll I’ll just leave you

1:28:25

with one last observation that was just a very fascinating observation I got from a Russian um um Professor recently

1:28:34

normally I when I interview Russians it’s the the purpose of it is going back to my idea of trying to inoculate

1:28:41

Americans against russophobia is to get the Russian perspective about Russia so they can Empower me Empower people are

1:28:48

listening so we have an understanding about Russia but I decided that given what was happening in America I wanted

1:28:54

to get the Russian perspective about my country what was going on and the most

1:28:59

fascinating observation was made and it’s one that I think everybody should reflect on he said that um he was a man

1:29:07

who was alive when the Soviet Union fell he was a man that experienced um you

1:29:12

know the Soviet Union during the latter stages of perista the collapse of Soviet

1:29:18

society and he said when we look at America today we see the Soviet Union at

1:29:24

the end of perista we’re seeing the collapse of American society and I was

1:29:29

taken aback I’m like no no no no no no what the hell you talking about and then I reflect on it this election is crazy

1:29:36

an assassination attempt that may have been orchestrated by elements of the US

1:29:42

government um a soft poo that was definitely orchestrated by elements of the US government the weaponization of a

1:29:49

Judiciary Society firmly divided $ 36 trillion in debt unsustainable

1:29:57

economic gu is right again Ray McGovern always said listen to the Russians

1:30:03

they’ll tell you something and you and and you should you you should keep it in mind the Russians are looking at America

1:30:10

today and there’s a reason why they don’t necessarily want to work with us

1:30:15

anymore because they see a society that’s in a death spiral and um it’s a tragedy for them they they they used to

1:30:22

love the American respect the America of 20 years ago but today they look at America and it’s like watching an old

1:30:30

sick animal you know uh perish in the field um you can’t save it it’s gonna

1:30:36

die and it’s a tragedy because at one time you love that animal Russia’s looking at America and they’re watching

1:30:42

us die and for an American who loves my country that was a very very difficult

1:30:48

uh observation to hear and a more difficult reality to start uh

1:30:53

acknowledging as I reflected on what the guy said yes Dan thanks Scott final final

1:31:01

comment on you know I know Scott uh wanted to bring you in so final word

1:31:08

before and then we’ll go over some super chats and and

1:31:14

close up you’re muted up there you go yeah so I and I I will uh after I end my

1:31:20

remarks I will go it’s 5:30 in the morning here so I um about to begin my day um but I will just end I first of

1:31:27

all I agree Scott with everything you said um and what I’ll say is one of the

1:31:32

great tragedies here is that Russia wanted to be part of the West

1:31:39

wanted to be part of Europe dating back to Peter the Great right and the Russians fully thought

1:31:46

after after the Soviet Union collapsed that they would be admitted back into the west and into into Europe

1:31:54

and it wasn’t Russia that decided that that wasn’t going to happen it was the West the turn that said no we don’t want

1:32:04

you and um it took a long time for the Russians to wake up to the fact that

1:32:10

they weren’t wanted by the West um and they know that now and as you say

1:32:19

they they could live without us now they will in theend forgive us they’re very

1:32:25

forgiving people we will be friends again as we’ve been historically you

1:32:31

know the Russians supported the Revolutionary War supported Lincoln in

1:32:37

the Civil War of course played a huge role in in in defeating the Nazis in World War II Russia should be our friend

1:32:44

but but they could live without us now because they know how much the West hates them and it’s a terrible thing but

1:32:52

um at the end of the day we will deal with Russia again and they will deal

1:32:58

with us um but it will be on different terms they will not come back as

1:33:03

Beggars that’s for sure and they will demand respect which

1:33:09

they deserve of course um and we will have to learn to respect

1:33:16

them those are my final words and I want to thank you for having me Scott always great to be with you Danny thank you

1:33:23

yeah and buy my book the Case for Palestine yeah everyone uh Matt you know this is a great time uh because we’re

1:33:29

just going to be doing a few super chats and then heading out ourselves so as Dan leaves here be sure go to the video

1:33:35

description and get that book the Case for Palestine the link is there Sky

1:33:41

horse publishing many ways to buy it Dan Dan let just can I can I just throw

1:33:47

something Dan Rumor Has you’re going to be in New York City on the 4th of August

1:33:52

yes I’m Coming For That br to see you Scott AB oh awesome could you do me a favor yeah bring some copies of your

1:34:00

books and we’ll uh we got a crowd there and uh promote your book and let’s let’s sell some copies of your book too you

1:34:07

got it Scott thank you I appreciate that very much Danny you’re invited to that too so right yeah yeah yeah no I need to

1:34:15

right thank you very much guys yes have a good even yes take care bye Dan bye

1:34:21

bye all right scottt so let’s do the we’ll do a a rapid fire here we can do

1:34:27

care of authors that’s what we got to do you know yeah no totally it’s such a because with my you know with my book

1:34:33

too like from years ago this 2019 it’s just hard to to promote books and

1:34:39

Publishers uh I I know you have a good you have Clarity press I know that they’re very good and friendly most

1:34:44

Publishers though you know if they’re good Publishers they don’t have a lot to H you know that they might not have the

1:34:51

capital and the Publishers that don’t really like our work uh that have the capital they

1:34:57

don’t why aren’t you publishing with Clarity press you’re you’re I know well I haven’t I I because I’m a right-wing

1:35:06

conservative I published with skyhorse because of Dan actually he connected

1:35:12

that was my singular book um I have a relationship with Clarity because they’re always you know sending me books

1:35:18

and whatnot so definitely I mean if I write another book let’s say on China or

1:35:23

something something of that sort uh Clarity press will definitely be you know number one or one I don’t know if

1:35:28

there’s any other Publishers out there W to publish my work but Clarity press will definitely be number one just because you know they would be the most

1:35:35

open by far um I actually have in Cynthia McKenna’s book on how the US creates hole countries I have an

1:35:42

essay in there and um that’s a Clarity press book so I guess I am technically you are you are technically author it

1:35:48

was a republished article but um but yeah so all right well let’s do this Scott um and then we can head out of

1:35:54

here so just thanks to Jack um for becoming a member um Rufus has some kind

1:36:00

words for you Scott for doing so many interviews always educating on geopolitical matters especially Russia

1:36:06

now here’s a question so thanks Rufus from Studio who’s always giving very generous super chats so thank you is

1:36:14

there any way for the US secular cycle can be fixed um I guess we can call elections and do you think Russia will

1:36:21

benefit longterm from having this war which could avoid Global compilation decline it’s a massive time while nobody

1:36:27

talks about force solutions not sure what studio is referencing in that latter part um but we do I don’t know if

1:36:36

they meant election cycle or I don’t know what they mean by but Scott I’ll let you interpret that yeah it’s tough

1:36:43

um to do what what I can say is this um Russia has taken a very difficult

1:36:49

situation and made the best out of it um and as things stand Russia has definitely

1:36:56

benefited from this uh not only militarily I mean General Christopher

1:37:02

cavoli uh recently gave a a presentation where he said look when this war ends

1:37:07

regardless of How It Ends um NATO is gonna have to deal with the reality of a

1:37:14

um of Russia having a very large very well equipped very experienced Army in

1:37:20

Russia being sort of angry at Europe um you know that’s that’s one aspect but

1:37:26

this war has also supercharged bricks uh supercharge

1:37:32

the transition from uh American heimy the rules-based international order to

1:37:37

this new multipolarity um and taking it as I said earlier it’s no longer Theory it’s

1:37:43

reality um and Russia will benefit from this um you know the the good news is

1:37:50

that Russia’s not the United States that Russia understand the danger of um a a

1:37:57

military industrial complex that’s taken over um the economy and become

1:38:02

politicized because that’s what happened in the Soviet Union with the massive defense spending helped BR bring about

1:38:08

the the economic collapse and Russia guards against this so you know this war

1:38:14

will end and when this war ends you will see uh Russia um make a transition away

1:38:21

from you know the unnecessary defense industry um and go

1:38:27

back to you know doing the kind of Civilian uh focused production that uh

1:38:33

that the Russian economy and the global economy needs so Russia is not addicted at this point to the military-industrial

1:38:40

complex the Russian military-industrial complex and that’s a good thing so I think Russia U this purely B this this

1:38:48

politically you know Vladimir Putin it’s just you just won an election back in March overwhelming election that gives

1:38:55

him a mandate he doesn’t win that election he wins the election he doesn’t win that election with those margins if

1:39:01

it weren’t for this war so this war has been a very empowering um thing it it’s

1:39:07

allowed Vladimir Putin to put a new Benchmark out there for what defines Russian patriotism uh because before the

1:39:13

war you had Russian a lot of Russians were relearning what patriotism meant um

1:39:19

and many Russians continued to be ashamed of Russia the Russia of the 19 90s and continued to look to the West as

1:39:25

saying that’s the model of what we should be and how we should be that’s not happening anymore Russians have

1:39:31

looking inward to Russia loving Russia and um and and moving forward on that

1:39:37

and again all of this happened because of the war so I think Russia’s emerging from this conflict in a much stronger

1:39:43

place than it was before and it’s not just military strength its overall economic strength economic potential and

1:39:50

the geopolitical positioning of Russia on the world stage thanks Scott and thank you studio

1:39:57

for that very generous Super Chat we have her Owen saying Justice for Sona Massie just hearing about this a

1:40:04

horrific uh Police Homicide um a black woman this is uh th the these kind of

1:40:11

things may heat up and may get more attention during this electoral Silly Season let’s see and let’s see what

1:40:17

people do but um Studio said again if Yemen can get an aircraft carrier they might B bankrupt the military-industrial

1:40:25

complex they are quite talented at what they do I don’t want them to get an aircraft carryer because on board that

1:40:31

aircraft carrier thousands of American citizens um I’d prefer that the American people bring that aircraft carrier home

1:40:38

and not and stop playing stupid games out there because the reality is um if

1:40:44

we keep doing what we’re doing Yemen’s going to get an aircraft carrier and that’s uh we don’t want that at least I

1:40:51

don’t want I mean know there’s people out there might be people out there that do want it but as an American I can never wish harm on U on my fellow

1:40:58

service members especially if it’s needless you know it’s like this this should that they’re not succeeding as it

1:41:05

is this isn’t a su this not only is it not a successful military campaign Naval campaign that the US is trying to wage

1:41:12

on on Yemen to try to break the blockade but it only stands to get worse and it

1:41:17

doesn’t stand to get better for for the United States and so yeah people people will die I I remember um at the

1:41:26

beginning of the you know after October 7th um I was with someone in Vietnam I

1:41:32

was with veterans I was with Vets For Peace and his son was actually deployed

1:41:38

um you know to be on board those initial aircraft carriers that the US was

1:41:43

sending out there as like a show of oh well maybe we’ll get involved with Israel and there’s a lot of fear that

1:41:48

the aess of resistance then would strike them because I mean these this is these are people

1:41:55

who were in The M they know that you know well you can mess around so much

1:42:00

before uh you know especially in a hot moment when Israel is literally

1:42:05

threatening the annihilation and eventually has been carrying out that annihilation of entire people you might

1:42:10

end up catching those Strays if you support that um so you know this is

1:42:15

something I think that’s very real on the Red Sea too uh now we have pirate Smurf nice name uh

1:42:23

your thoughts uh maybe quickly Scott on the imprisonment of Imran Khan and his overthrow of the government 2022 and

1:42:30

what will happen to Pakistan if he is killed dark question well I mean

1:42:39

um Imran Khan was a very popular um democratically elected uh prime minister

1:42:46

um I’m not going to sit here and say that he wasn’t corrupt I’m not going to sit here and say that there weren’t issues um you know because I just don’t

1:42:53

know he’s been accused of corruption he’s been accused of things um but what

1:42:58

what happened is that he didn’t go along with the American decision to punish

1:43:03

Russia because of Russia’s Invasion or the initiation of the special military operation against uh Ukraine in fact he

1:43:11

was looking for Russian assistance in terms of oil um you know I don’t want to

1:43:17

get too much into it you know balance of payments the having foreign currency reserves on hand capable of paying off

1:43:22

the debt there’s a lot of problems for for um for that and so he went over

1:43:27

there and he came back and there was a vote of no confidence that was orchestrated by the United States and

1:43:33

Imran Khan said so he said America did this and of course America and everybody else going no we didn’t that’s

1:43:38

conspiracy theory and all this stuff turns out that America did do that and there was a cable that proved it and

1:43:45

Imran Khan held the cable and made reference to it and so now they um they charged him with the release of Secrets

1:43:52

and then they now have charged him with uh you know improper marriage apparently

1:43:57

they weren’t divorced or separated or something long enough the bottom line is

1:44:03

um this is a man who if there was free and Democratic elections in Pakistan

1:44:08

would be the prime minister of Pakistan because he’s that popular still um you

1:44:14

know Pakistan is a fundamentally broken Nation uh the military dominates uh it

1:44:20

politically and economically um it’s an unhealthy situation but they can’t have

1:44:26

Imran Khan come back because he’s now too powerful if he does return as prime minister he will break the back of those

1:44:34

people who um who have orchestrated his um his arrest and his imprisonment so

1:44:40

you know we’re in a situation where they can’t afford to let him out of prison they can’t let they can’t allow him to

1:44:46

return to politics and unfortunately Pakistan has a history of killing unpopular politicians I hope hope that’s

1:44:53

not the case um he’s done nothing that deserves the death sentence but um you

1:44:59

know that’s that’s where we are right now it’s a very very dangerous situation but to pretend that Pakistan’s a

1:45:05

democracy um when confronted by the reality of what they’ve done to undermine Imran Khan and to keep this uh

1:45:12

this man of the people um out of the political processes it just it proves

1:45:17

the point that Pakistan’s not a [Music] democracy and we have Woodley

1:45:24

feet um in the UK fan of yours Scott they have military experts in the United

1:45:31

Kingdom I mean unit Kingdom has been saying a lot lately Scott uh about war

1:45:37

preparing for war with Russia China Iran by 2020 what is it 76 I don’t know uh we

1:45:43

have military experts saying Hezbollah would beat them is it true very hard to

1:45:48

believe well why is it hard to believe um hezel has beaten Israel twice already

1:45:53

um Hezbollah kicked Israel out of Southern Lebanon people tend to forget that um you Hezbollah did that um

1:46:00

Hezbollah defeated Israel in August 2006 when Israel initiated a major offensive designed to destroy Hezbollah Hezbollah

1:46:08

wasn’t destroyed they fought the Israeli Army to a standstill and forced Israel to back away from you know the

1:46:14

pronouncements about the destruction of hezb Etc um and Hezbollah is defeating

1:46:20

Israel right now on the northern border in this war of attrition hezb has been preparing for a major

1:46:26

conflict with Israel for some time now uh the third um you know major drone

1:46:34

overflight of Israel recently was done yesterday HB released the footage and it

1:46:40

shows that Hezbollah a is able to fly a drone over Israel the the most secure sites of Israel that are supposed to

1:46:46

have air defense and apparently they don’t um collect invaluable intelligence

1:46:51

about the disposition of Israeli forces and uh and the location of of important targets and then hezb is sitting on

1:46:59

150,000 plus Precision guided rockets that um you know can rain down on Israel

1:47:05

and Destroy hezel is prepared to take the fight to Israel Israel has been planning a military operation has

1:47:11

Israeli forces going into Southern Lebanon seeking to push Hezbollah back to the Lani River uh that’s not the

1:47:17

fight Hezbollah is going to fight Hezbollah is going to be sending troops under the ground under tunnels popping up in Israeli Villages and towns and

1:47:24

seeking to seize Northern Israel and the Galilee that’s the reality that’s called Hezbollah kicking Israel’s butt so it’s

1:47:31

not difficult to believe hez has been kicking his really butt for decades now

1:47:37

yeah the you mentioned it earlier in the Stream this drone that they were able to

1:47:43

conduct I mean they took I mean the amount of intelligence that they took on the Ramat David Air Base just right you know

1:47:51

just what is it some much 50 60 kilometers away from the Lebanese border everything they they got everything they

1:47:58

and they’re showing it off to expose the fact that they they know what they’re

1:48:04

doing and they are equipped to take a major you know to land major hits if

1:48:11

that’s what the situation calls for but as uh you know even the Western

1:48:17

mainstream media is saying now us mainstream media too is saying well if Israel just comes to a

1:48:23

ceasefire all of this can at least go away for now we can we can put a pause

1:48:28

on the Hezbollah Israel uh confrontation blowing up so um very interesting times

1:48:36

but I just want to thank um D love speaking truth to give peace a chance Studio Rainer uh in the interest of time

1:48:43

I’m going to uh just thank all of you for additional super chats um but I

1:48:48

think we’re going to wrap it up here in the interest I answer one question that was in the chat is it this one right

1:48:54

here it wasn’t a Super Chat one um oh okay okay well thank you Studio I’ll just put these up thank you speaking

1:49:01

truth thank you DLo and then um but but somebody asked a question they said um

1:49:08

did APAC ever approached me to try and buy me off the answer is yes they did it was a

1:49:16

hell of an offer uh it was done I when I first when I first resigned from um my

1:49:23

my position as a weapons inspector um uh

1:49:28

I was welcome welcomed with open arms by the pro-israeli crowd because I had had

1:49:34

a four years of very close relationship with Israeli intelligence and thing things of that nature um uh and APAC

1:49:42

just was trying to get me to speak at their uh their convention I didn’t do it uh but I was courted by the American

1:49:48

Enterprise Institute um by the Washington uh

1:49:53

Institute of ner studies um on and on and on and on um and

1:50:00

I I got a phone call from uh Paul woltz who at the time was the dean of um John

1:50:06

Hopkins University School of government and uh he wanted to meet me so we met at

1:50:12

the Washington National Airport and um he said uh we we we have an offer we

1:50:19

being the collective he said we’re we’re going to be running a candidate for

1:50:24

president who’s going to win the presidency and when that happens um you’re in a position to be brought in at

1:50:32

a fairly senior level at the in the Department of Defense or the CIA your name is being bandied around and we

1:50:39

think you could do great things for that but in the meantime you have to earn a living and so what we are proposing for

1:50:45

you is um that you go work at a think tank where you will get a basis salary

1:50:53

and he said don’t worry it’s just a desk job just show up write a couple papers do a couple speaking easy gig um he said

1:51:01

then um we will have speaking engagements for you these will be funded by Apec and you’ll be going around the

1:51:08

country and I think they were going to pay $30,000 per engagement with a guarantee of a a minimum of 10

1:51:14

engagements a year that’s 300,000 um there a conservative publishing house was going to uh publish

1:51:22

you know me um you know I think three titles and they were going to pay

1:51:27

significant advances for each title um but the bottom line is when it all added up um basically over a two-year period I

1:51:36

would be making U between three and6 million that’s a lot of money especially

1:51:42

when you’re a broke ass former Marine who’s not used to making more than you know $75,000 a year um and you know

1:51:50

you’re I mean it was a hell of an offer all I had to do was talk about Saddam Hussein not just

1:51:58

being a criminal I could have done that I mean I don’t necessar you know today I I don’t

1:52:04

believe that but at the time sure why not bad guy I so I’m a bad guy I got it

1:52:11

but he had to be a bad guy possessing weapons and mass destruction and I said but he doesn’t he doesn’t I can’t lie he

1:52:19

said well we don’t want you to lie we just want you to create the impression that he could have it I said but I just

1:52:25

spent the last seven years and I know he doesn’t have it I can’t do it and wolfa

1:52:31

witch was so pissed off at me I mean he you’re throwing your life away you

1:52:36

know but that was the time when APAC in the Pro Israeli Lobby tried to buy me

1:52:42

off it was a hell of a deal and um I oftentimes wonder what what would have

1:52:48

happened had I taken it you know had I sold my soul to the devil um you know where I’d be today what golf courses I’d

1:52:56

be playing at uh what big house I’d have uh the fact I wouldn’t have any credit card debt I wouldn’t have any debt at

1:53:02

all it would be wonderful life except I’d have to look in the mirror and realize that I sold my soul um for that

1:53:09

so anyway I just saw that and I thought that maybe I should answer that and put it a little interesting story out

1:53:16

there yeah no I mean I’m sure you’ve got a lot of these interesting stories Scott

1:53:21

that uh perhaps we can you know you’ll be back on here again share more of but it also gets me

1:53:28

thinking about as you were talking at that time period too just how much

1:53:33

Israel was invested in that Narrative of weapons and mass destruction I mean Netanyahu himself I understand your

1:53:40

animosity toward it Netanyahu for many reasons Scott because I share those but your personal also experience with that

1:53:49

just uh just a headwind of a moment for the US in terms of its foreign policy

1:53:55

spreading that lie having huge consequences for the planet um and

1:54:02

Netanyahu being really a big part of that as well as the Israeli government you know that’s just I can’t imagine I

1:54:09

was I was very young at the time what it was like I wasn’t that old at the time

1:54:14

either you think about it 1990 1998 um

1:54:19

right and uh gosh 37 years old $6

1:54:25

million 37 years old did I make you know but oh well I

1:54:32

can look in the mirror today and go you may be poor but you made the right choice right

1:54:39

right well everybody uh we’ve been here for a while so before we head out of

1:54:45

here do go to that video description that’s all the places where you can support this channel are there from
